Routes Ahead has been commissioned by Derbyshire County Council and Derby City Council to meet the Government's requirement to develop a searchable internet-based prospectus of 14 to 19 learning opportunities in Derby and Derbyshire. It has been developed by Connexions Derbyshire in partnership with Derby City Council, Aimhigher Derbyshire, Derbyshire County Council, Derbyshire Education and Business Partnership, Derbyshire Learning and Skills Council and The Derbyshire Network

Connexions Derbyshire has responsibility for the management and development of Routes Ahead.

Routes Ahead is learner-centred and gives young people impartial, accurate and up-to-date information on all the options available to them.
