Routes Ahead is the main place to find information on courses, Apprenticeships and other learning opportunities for 14- to 19-year-olds, in and around Derby and Derbyshire.

You can use Routes Ahead to find out about:

• courses, Apprenticeships and other learning opportunities - what qualifications you need to do them, what`s involved, how to apply, what you can do afterwards and so on
  
• money - what`s available while you`re learning and travel discounts
  
• bus routes to and from local colleges and sixth forms, and
  
• loads of other things - from understanding your options and making choices, to writing application forms and dealing with relationship and housing issues.

In response to the DCSF`s requirment, from September Year 11 students will be able to apply for opportunties online through Routes Ahead.
